Our Review:
We have used slicker brushed before but they always seem to hurt Davinia. I guess the bristles are usually a bit too long for her. I like how they pull the dead hair out and get off dirt that finds its way to her skin. But she was never really a fan plus they are a pain to clean. You have to find either another brush or a comb with tiny bristles to clean them out. With the Kakadu Slicker brush you just push the button and the hair comes right out. I really like this feature and have used the brush several times since getting i on both dogs because it is so easy to clean. The only draw back is that in the small size it seems a little fragile so I wouldn't use it on a dog with a lot of knots or crazy unruly coat.
Slicker brushes are for dogs and cats with medium to long coats. A short coated dog or cat especially one with pink skin might become irritated from the use of a slicker brush. Just be aware of your pet as you use this product so you don't cause unintentional harm.
