For the past month we have been busy not only finishing off the year but getting ready for the New Year to begin. We have a ton of exciting things that will be happening that we wanted to tell you all about.
For those of you who missed the announcement we will be giving away $950 cash! Its an International Giveaway that is open to anyone with a Paypal account. The event will begin in the middle of January so make sure you follow our Blog and you will already have your very first entry completed and read to go. There will of course be several bonus entries throughout the Giveaway so make sure to check in often.
On January 23rd we will be starting our very first Health Awareness Week. Each month we will feature another genetic disease that effects different breeds of dogs in an effort to educate everyone about what to look out for in their dogs and how we can stop it from progressing. Our first event will discuss Syringomyelia. Syringomyelia (SM) is an extremely serious condition in which fluid-filled cavities develop within the spinal cord near the brain. It is also known as "neck scratcher's disease", because one of its common signs is scratching in the air near the neck.
Then in February we will be featuring Mitral Valve Disease. Since it is a disease that effects the heart I figured February is the perfect time to discuss it. If you would like us to feature a particular disease feel free to email us as well so we can discuss it and put it on the calendar.
At the beginning of February we will be celebrating Chinese New Year (Spring Festival) here on our blog as our way of sharing our experience in Hong Kong with all of you. There will be Giveaways, Guest Posts, and lost of fun posts during the 15 days of celebration of the Year of the Rabbit. We are looking for Sponsors so if you happen to know someone who sells any sort of Asian products we would love to work with them. We figured since all of the Asian Zodiac Signs are animals we can celebrate on our blog. Even if like the Dragon some are mythical.
Also in February we are participating in a Handmade ONLY giveaway that will include everything from artwork to baked goods to pet beds. We have several sponsors lined up but the more the merrier.
In March we are going to be branching out and Hosting the Carnival of Cats. Not sure what we are supposed to do but we thought it would be fun for all of our cat followers to have a special event just for them on our blog.
