Before I explain anything I just want everyone to know this is just a fun participation necessary event. Whether you have designed hundreds of parties or if your only experience as a party planner is for your two year old's Elmo party we would love to have you. This is supposed to be just a fun creative event. Caterers, party planners, event planners, chefs, moms, dads, people who love to throw parties are all welcome to participate. I saw something similar on the Party Starters Blog a few months ago and I thought it would be a ton of fun to do on our Blog for Westminster.
How it works:
You create the be all end all Westminster Party no hosting required you don't even need to go out and make anything. You can use images from around the internet to create your party put it all together with or without explanation and then send us an email with your finished product. Of course if you have so much fun creating the party and want to actually go for it, we would love to have pictures of the event after it is over.
Here are our guidelines:
- The color theme is Purple and Yellow (you can use it throughout or just as accents)
- You need to decide if dogs are welcome or not
- There should be food for everyone invited to attend including the dogs if they are invited
- You decide the dress code (is it black tie, jeans and tees, business casual, its up to you) Just be sure to design your party with that in mind.
- Where would you hold your party
- Is this a party to watch the live broadcast, is this a children's party so that you taped the event and play it for the kids on Saturday or Sunday, or is this just an excuse to get together with friends and have the show on in the background.
- Are there games to play or will there be dancing how will you entertain the guests
- You can even create the outfit you would wear to the party or that the hostess would wear.
We will link to your blog, store, or website its up to you. If you are a professional in the business we will include your banner across the top of your post. All submissions will be posted and children are welcome to submit their party ideas as well.
