Make a New Friend Tuesdays: Kendall the Cavalier

Every Tuesday we introduce you to a new blogging friend. We know that Blog Hops can get overwhelming and you don't really get to know everyone you just want to be able to stop by to say hello to get to say hi to everyone on the list.

We came up with Make a New Friend Tuesdays. This way we can really get to know a bit about our new friends and everyone can drop by to say hello since its one blog once a week. Don't worry we will still be having Blog Hops this is just a bonus! This is a much more intimate way to get to know your fellow Bloggers and introduce yourself to them. I love getting to actually spend a few minutes looking through their posts to see what their blog is all about and of course getting to see pictures!

If you would like your blog to be featured please fill out this form and we will feature your blog.

I'm a 40-something female who blogs from the wonderful, wet Pacific Northwest. I'm a scientist by day and a blogger/newsletter editor by night. I love to to camping, cook, and take Kendall out on lots of adventures. My favorite animal is, of course, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. My favorite food is wood-fired pizza and my favorite color is green. Our home is ruled by three wonderful animals - all with their own, distinct personalities. There's Kendall, the Cavalier, whose adventures are chronicled in the blog. Guest appearances are often made by Rico, a laid-back kitty on Prozac, and Heimey, a high-strung cat who isn't really sure he likes living with Kendall, even after almost three years.

Kendall and RicoAll of our animals have been named after physicists. It all started with Schrodinger the cat (Dinger for short). Then Heimey (Oppenheimer) joined the family followed by Rico (Enrico Fermi). Kendall is named after Henry Kendall, an American physicist.

Kendall at Read to the Dogs
Kendall is a registered therapy dog, who is registered through the Delta Society. She enjoys visiting at nursing homes and assisted living facilities and has currently started participating in the Read to the Dogs program at the local library.
