Playtime Recommendations
We recommend that cats be supervised when playing with all toys. Proper supervision can help prevent accidental swallowing of parts. All toys should be inspected periodically to ensure that parts have not been chewed loose. Do not permit your pet to continue playing with a broken or damaged toy. Remove all tags, stickers, and loose threads before you offer any toy to your pet.
The Review:
For a full review please visit the doggy toy giveaway as we were sent toys for Davinia and Indiana but I figured that I needed to keep the two reviews separate so I tried to see if the Feral Cats would be interested in playing with these toys. I thought for sure one of the cats would at least try and bat at it since he bats at everything including my leg when I go to take the garbage out and don't have food for them with me. Anyway I took the toy outside since that is where the cats live and all 5 feral cats happened to be there waiting for some food so I tried to play with them but they weren't interested. I made the squeaky noise and they all got nervous so went to their resting places. I stayed outside and they came right back but after sniffing the toy and not smelling food they turned their noses up and walked away.
I wanted pictures with the cats and the toy so I wouldn't confuse anyone. I brought Feral Kitten (yes that is what I call her) inside and put her down next to the toy to see what she would do. She was mildly interested in it and rubbed her head on it a few times but was more interested in going into the kitchen to see if there was any food out that she could steal.I have no idea if the Feral Cats would play with cat nip or what their reaction would be to it so I didn't ask to be sent any of the cat specific toys. I know Feral Kitten will cuddle with the dogs toys on the few occasions she has been inside and in the bedroom at last for picture purposes. She will also cuddle with the dogs if give the chance and they are gentle with her so I knew it would be ok to let her see if she would play with their toy. Actually they all might have taken a nap on the Skinneez toy if I left it outside for them since they do have an old bed of the dogs that they take turns sleeping on.
