Our Review:
I had the opportunity to preview tonight's stop-motion animated Christmas episode of the NBC show Community! It has the look of an old Christmas classic with a major twist instead of the usual Christmas Episode this was a modern day take on Candyland meet Willy Wonka meet Wizard of Oz meet Harry Potter. The writers took classic stories, games, and movies from our childhood and worked them into this show as to not produce the same Christmas episode as every other TV show out there or go old school and use a classic Christmas tale.

The cast goes on a quest to help their friend find the true meaning of Christmas. When the main character in this episode Abed gives each of his friends a new look for the journey we are shown the personality of each character even if you have never seen the show before. I think that this episode was made with the entire family in mind and see no reason with a TV-PG rating that the entire family couldn't sit down to watch it.

I have been asked not to reveal too much and when the episode is only a half hour long that doesn't give me much to work with. I decided since I watched the stop animated episode that I should at least have something to compare it to so I watch last weeks episode via Hulu. It happened to be their puppy parade episode. No it wasn't all puppies and kittens but we did get to see the parade at the every end were there was a probably 8 week old Cavalier puppy hanging out with a kitten and several other really cute puppies. By watching the episode I really got to see that the new look Abed had given his friends in the Christmas Episode was true to their personalities. This is a show that I would watch again when I have time.

I really loved the Christmas episode which is something I never say about a shows Christmas Episode. I would absolutely recommend that you watch it tonight and join the twitter party if you can. If you are busy tonight it is DVR worthy.

I received the opportunity to Preview this episode through my affiliation with One2One Network.
