Do you love your pet?
Us!Davinia and Indiana are such a major part of my life I can not imagine not having either of the girls they are my babies. It is my hope that I can find ways to work fro home or at companies that allow dogs to come to work because I hate leaving them home all day by themselves. They hate it too ok to be truthful Davinia hates it when she was younger and we lived in NY I had to leave her home during the day so I could work and when I got home she needed all of my attention. Indiana on the other hand has always had me home with her from the minute she was carried in the door at 9 weeks old.
They have such different personalities, needs, and wants. If decide to drive to BlogPaws this year you will all get to see what I mean. Davinia is very happy to be hanging out with people quietly and many meeting some other dogs maybe not but she will talk to everyone and Indiana loves to play. Indiana will decide whether or not she wants to say hello or just ignore another dog. They girls will cuddle with each other but rarely do they play with each other. Davinia just doesn't play much and Indiana would like to have a lay friend her size since the big dos who will lay with her even if they are being gentle and only playing could squish her by accident.
Puppy Indiana and DaviniaWe have been through a lot together and there were many days through the years where their demand to go out to potty was the only thing that got me out of bed in the morning whether I was sick or in pain or just wanted to sleep they said no way its time to play. We go for walks everyday no matter what the weather rain, snow, wind, or sun (though Indiana doesn't like it when it is really windy that u gets up under her tail). We hunt leaves and lizards, point at squirrels and watch the watch the birds fly by . They climb rocks playing queen of the mountain and even then aren't as tall as many of their doggy friends. We say hello to the feral cats we pass on our walk and in the afternoons admire the white kitty as he suns himself at his house. We could however do without the traffic that thinks the other side of the block is the Indy raceway and all the noise from the landscape crews.
The girls napping togetherDavinia is a picky eater while Indiana will eat anything that isn't bolted down and then she gets an upset tummyfinding a food that Davinia likes and Indiana does not gets sick from is a constant challenge as formulas are changed without warning so it upsets Indiana's stomach or Davinia decides she isn't interested anymore.
