Hi everyone ~
Its Davinia and Indiana we stole mommy's computer for a few minutes to ak for your help. As some of you know we are going to be going to Bark World Expo in Atlanta, Georgia at the end of August. Mommy wants to try and take us both (she says it is both or nothing) but Davinia is not a fan of large crowds. I on the other hand am at my most Diva Princess in crowds since obviously everyone is there to see me and be my friend.
Mommy thinks that if she had a sling to put Davinia in so that she could snuggle her close it would help Davinia be calmer. We were wondering if any of your mommy and daddy's make doggy slings or know of someone who makes then big enough for Davinia (she weighs about 16lbs). Mommy also thinks that it would be a huge helps when she takes us out to potty at the hotel since Davinia will bark in the elevator if mommy doesn't hold her and I will just pee pee on the floor if it takes too long to get outside.
Mommy says 16lbs in each arm is not the easiest thing to achieve and get the hotel room door open, close it without catching our leashes under it, push the elevator call button, push the lobby button, and then open the door to get us all outside. Can you tell we travel with mommy pretty often and know how it works. If you are asking why mommy can't take us individually well that would be because I (Indiana) will throw a fit if I am left behind. Davinia is just fine staying in our crate in the room and doesn't mind being left by herself which mommy does sometimes especially at doggy events so that I can have fun and Davinia doesn't have to get stressed. But first thing in the morning we both want to go potty and we like to go walk together.
Mommy said we can do a Review and Giveaway on our blog so that other dogs who need a sling will know about where we found ours. Oh mommy told us to tell you we aren't looking for the ones that have the slits t put our feet through. We have one of those but Davinia can't use it right now because it would put pressure on her front leg in the area that is still not healed and could put pressure on her pelvis which is still healing which is why mommy thinks if Davinia could just lay down like a baby and be supported this would be ideal.
