Dogs at the animal shelter in Lake Isabella now have a new place to play. On Saturday the shelter opened a new play yard for the dogs. The new area was made possible thanks to Pam Johnson and Friends of the Kern County Animal Shelter Foundation.
The mission of Friends of Kern County Animal Shelters Foundation (FKCASF) is to reduce the number of homeless pets in Kern County. FKCASF raises funds to help support low-cost spay/neuter programs, provide educational programs to schools, provide enrichment for animals currently in our shelters and works with Kern County Animal Control to hold off-site adoption events.
