Indiana and Davinia both LOVE little kids. Indiana loves to lick them all over and Davinia loves to be pet and will sometime even roll over so they will rub her tummy. They think little people are just the most fun to visit with. When we lived in NY they had a fan club of little kids who always had to say hello and give them a treat. Then in Hong Kong the kids were a little older so they would run around the park with them and one day even played dress up with them. Here in Miami we don't really see that many kids who want to say hello to them. But when we do both Davinia and Indiana's tails are wagging a million miles an hour. I know Indiana would love to be able to go to this event and hang out with all the little kids so I figured they wouldn't mind if you told all of you about it so maybe you can go and take pictures of all the fun you have so they can see.
For those of you with young children I am sure you have heard of Yo Gabba Gabba and might even be purchasing tickets to take a very special little person to an event near you. For those of you who have never heard of them but have a little person in your life (niece, cousin, godchild) apparently these are the tickets to get your hands on as a birthday present or early holiday gift. The tour is going to be visiting 60 cities around the country and one of those stops happens to be here in Miami at the American Airlines Arena on October 31st (what a perfect way to celebrate Halloween!) so I agreed to help promote the event as it is family friendly and local.
About the Show:
Yo Gabba Gabba Live! runs for about an hour, and what a jam-packed, fun-filled hour it is! DJ Lance Rock is a magician-musician. He brings a mysterious boom-box that carefully protects his special toy creatures. He breathes life into his toys with the magical words, “Yo Gabba Gabba!.” He loves to interact with his friends from above and sometimes beams in to teach everybody a DJ Lance-dance.
Dancey Dance segments give special guests the chance to take center stage on and teach us all a brand new dance move. Past guests have included Sarah Silverman, Snoop Dogg, DMC from Run DMC, and Jon Heder. Each show features a different guest so you never know who’s going to show up. The Super Music Friends Show features unique performaces by awesome musical guests! Amazing bands like The Roots, Cold War Kids, The Aquabats, Erykah Badu, and Devendra Banhart have all played on the Yo Gabba Gabba! Stage. Who knows what bands will take the stage at future shows?
