Cherokee is a special little horse with special needs. He is looking for a kind, compassionate person who will appreciate his specialness and would be willing to work around his limitations. A young spotted Appaloosa gelding who was abandoned and taken in by our rescue, he is looking for that rare person who will love him in spite of his disabilities and status as companion horse only. He will never be able to be ridden, and needs a low stress environment with a pasture mate who is mild and not compete with him. He is unstable on his feet when he runs, wobbly and unstable - he will fall if forced to run too quickly or chased by another horse or a dog. Please give Cherokee a home where he can be loved and cherished for his special qualities - for the sweetness that comes from a truly gentle horse who loves to be loved.
